What's the difference between a line pump and a boom pump?
A line pump uses flexible hoses on the ground to move concrete into tight or inaccessible spaces.
A boom pump uses a large mechanical arm to reach high or far locations.
ConPump specializes in line pumping, which is ideal for residential pours, basements, slabs, and most GTA construction projects.
How far can your line pumps reach?
Our line pump can reach up to 500 feet horizontally, allowing us to service backyards, basements, laneways, long driveways, and tight areas where trucks cannot access directly.
What do I need to prepare before the pump crew arrives?
Here’s how to prepare:
-
Ensure the site is accessible and safe for our equipment
-
Clear a path for hose setup
-
Confirm concrete delivery time
-
Make sure your team is ready to place the concrete
-
Notify us of any obstacles (tight corners, uneven terrain, stairs, etc.)
We’ll guide you through the setup when booking.
How much does concrete pumping cost in the GTA?
Pricing depends on:
-
project size
-
hose length required
-
accessibility
-
job duration
-
travel distance
-
type of pour
We offer transparent pricing and competitive rates.
For an accurate quote, call us with the job details.
How long does concrete pumping take?
Most residential jobs take 1–3 hours, depending on:
-
volume of concrete
-
distance of hose
-
type of pour
-
site conditions
Larger or complex pours may take longer — we may be able to estimate the timeline when scheduling.
What type of concrete mix do you require?
Standard ready-mix concrete works for most pours.
If your project needs:
-
lightweight
-
aggregate-specific
-
self-leveling
-
high-strength
-
fibre-reinforced
— we’ll advise you on the correct mix.
Just let us know what you’re pouring and we’ll confirm the right product.
Is concrete pumping safe for residential properties?
Yes. We follow strict safety standards and are professionally trained and insured.
Our crew sets up the hoses and equipment to:
-
protect your home

Concrete pumping is often safer than moving concrete manually.
